CEO LETTER
WELCOME TO PARADISE
Welcome to Plymouth Harbor on Sarasota Bay, a full scale continuing care retirement community with a location that can best be described as a slice of paradise.
Founded in 1966 by the First Congregational United Church of Christ of Sarasota as a not-for-profit retirement community, Plymouth Harbor has built a tradition of inspired living among its residents. They migrate from around the United States, Canada, South America and portions of Europe. Our culture-rich environment serves to inspire our residents. On any given day, you are likely to observe a busy art studio, woodworking shop, water aerobics, exercise classes, bird watching, boating and socializing in our café and dining room. Our theatre offers lifetime learning classes, concerts, movies and lectures.
As a continuing care retirement community, we offer a full continuum of healthcare services ranging from assisted living and skilled nursing and rehabilitation accommodations to home health services.
One question that we often receive is, "what makes Plymouth Harbor unique among other retirement communities?" The answer lies within the diversity of our residents and our unsurpassed location, boasting a 360-degree water view, as well as a premier setting just two blocks from St. Armands Circle, one of the best shopping venues in the United States, and finally the quality and compassion of our caring staff.
I invite you to further explore our website and take a tour of our beautiful campus, study our floor plans, check out our services and amenities and get to know our trustees and staff.
As you research the world of retirement communities, I urge you to come and visit Plymouth Harbor, a place that can offer you a newly discovered passion, security and lifestyle as you enter a new chapter of your life.
I look forward to the opportunity of visiting with you here in Sarasota.
